Bih Jolokia 10 x Seeds
The seeds for this chilli originally came to us from Europe. The pods are smoother an a little larger than the Naga Jolokia (Ghost Pepper) but we can assure you this is just as hot as the ghost pepper in every way.
The Bih jolokia, is extensively cultivated in North Eastern Region of India but mostly in the states of Assam, Nagaland and Manipur. It is also known by other names such as the, Borbih jolokia, Nagahari, etc.
It is uncertain as to weather this smooth version has been bred selectively in the west or actually originates from India. The local inhabitants of Nagaland commonly use this chilli for making pickles and adding hotness to meat dishes and food stuffs.
The plants produce vast amounts of extremely hot, large red pods. very easy to grow.
All in all a very rewarding plant.
