The Paper Lantern is a Habanero chilli which produces an elongated wrinkly shaped pod with a pointy end.
The chillies mature by going from lime green to orange through to bright red and they reach about 5-7cm, or nearly 3" long in English. Paper Lantern is easier to grow than the usual Habaneros, it ripens about 2 weeks earlier & is a darn sight more productive. Paper Lantern chillies have a sweet/fruity taste and reach a blisteringly hot 350,000 - 450,000 SHU which makes it a very hot but attractive chilli.
