An ancient and rare chilli grown only in the Canada valley of Oaxaca. Like all chilhuacles, this chilli varies in shape from rounded balls to broad-shouldered and tapered. Not traditional but this chilli also makes an amazing paprika once ground.

All chilhuacles are slowly falling out of favour and are slowly disappearing due to their high production costs. Spice Trekkers are making a concerted effort to import and popularize these chillis to contribute to the survival of these truly ancient chillis.
